From Chicago (CBS)
Northwest side residents, please stay alert as there has been a string of burglaries reported all targeted towards senior citizens.
Every incident involves an offender approaching the homeowner or resident with a conversation about problems with their water or home repairs. While they are distracted, the other offender enters and burglarizes the home. Most of what has been stolen is jewelry and money.
These offenders are described as one Hispanic man, approximately 5’ 4” and 150 to 160 pounds between 30 to 40 years of age and the other as a white man 5’ 8” about 200 pounds, 45 to 55 years of age. The offenders are traveling in a gray SUV.
