Carbon Monoxide Detector

When carbon monoxide gas is detected any one of the protected locations in your home, the detector will send a message to your control panel, which will then cause horn to sound. The panel will then relay the emergency signal to Forest’s monitoring station where the message is received and a response made. We will call you to ensure you have received the alarm notification and have evacuated. The local fire department is notified, so you can be assured that help is on the way, whether or not you are at home.
Smoke Detector
Smoke detectors are an essential extension to your Forest home security system. Whether they are installed new or your existing smoke detectors are connected to to your Forest Security control panel they will be monitored 24/7 by Forest Security’s Central Station.
When smoke is detected in any of the protected locations in your home, the detector will send a message to your control panel, which will then cause all the evacuation horns to sound and relay the emergency signal to Forest’s monitoring station where the message is received and a response made. We will call you to verify the alarm and ensure you have evacuated and reached safety. Your local fire department is notified, so you can be assured that help is on the way, whether or not you are at home.
