Shorewood, IL – Burglary Alert!

Police say this man was caught on doorbell cameras around the time of a violent home invasion. (Via Shorewood Police Department)

An elderly woman was attacked inside her home during burglary on Saturday and was injured and taken to St. Joe’s hospital. A second home on the same afternoon also reported a home invasion. One crime was on the 500 block of Helene Street and the other crime was in the 900 block of Caprice Drive between the hours of 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM.

According to police, the intruder is not someone local and believed to be in his 30’s, white or Hispanic driving a black or dark gray full-sized pick-up truck.
