According to police, around 9 p.m.in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, three men forced their way into a woman’s apartment. They struck her, tied her up, held her at gunpoint, robbed her, and demanded to know where the money is located. Police Warning: A burglar has been cutting power to Austin neighborhood businesses and then breaking in OAK PARK, IL: 15th and 25th District, Austin Area has been hit with recent burglaries to neighborhood businesses. Dog Trapped In Burning Home Rescued by Fire Chief

Grayslake, IL – Dog Trapped In Burning Home Rescued by Fire Chief Firefighters rescued a dog that was trapped in a burning two story home in Grayslake on April 9th.  The home is located on the 400 block of Rock Hall Circle. Neighbors saw smoke coming from the roof and called 911. Firefighters arrived at 12:51 p.m. according to the Daily Herald report.
